“Breaking Barriers…Building Bridges”

We Are For

The burden of infections in the country is heavy and the AMR threat is looming large. The Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists plays a central role in rapid diagnosis of infections and antimicrobial stewardship with the increasing engagement with clinicians, to answer the key questions on antimicrobial prescription and efficacy. The microbiology labs are also changing with redesigned work schedule in a more clinical, patient-centered manner so as to maximize the benefit to the patients. The result of such a change in working practices can only be the benefit of all concerned, and ultimately making a difference to lives, the patients in need.

bioMerieux, a global leader in in vitro diagnostics for more than 50 years, has always been driven by a pioneering spirit and unrelenting commitment to improve public health worldwide. bioMerieux, together with the organizing team of MICROCON, 2018, is organizing this video campaign titled “We Are For” to celebrate the role of Microbiologist in the healthcare in India, and to recognize the excellence of Indian Microbiologists in their respective field.
